Attention sellers: Now sell to even more countries through the Global Shipping Program!

Great news! Starting this month, in addition to the current list of 42 countries around the world, you can use the Global Shipping Program to sell your items to Switzerland and Norway*.

As you know, the Global Shipping Program helps you expand your sales to millions of eager international buyers. Through the program (which is free to join), you can sell to buyers in dozens of countries—just mail your packages to a shipping center located in the US. You’re only responsible for the domestic leg of shipping.

Once your item arrives at the designated US shipping center, the Global Shipping Program takes care of ALL facets of international processing, including:

  • Completion of customs forms
  • Remitting applicable import charges pre-paid by your buyer
  • Shipping the package to the buyer—with end-to-end international tracking

Your shipping-related Detailed Seller Ratings will be protected, and you are not responsible for loss or damage during international transit. This program is great for buyers, too, as they’ll see the complete and total price of their purchase up-front during checkout—so they won’t be surprised by additional taxes or duties when the item arrives.

If you previously joined the Program, but your existing eligible listings were not automatically opted into the Program, they will be opted into the Program starting March 7, 2014.

Watch this board for further updates on the Global Shipping Program—go global today!

* For the first three months, only a limited number of listings will be available for sale to buyers in Norway.  Thereafter, we will make all eligible live and new listings from participating sellers available for sale to Norwegian buyers.
