Sellers: As we’re sure you’re aware, the U.S. Postal Service recently announced a proposal to increase the postage rate for select mail classes and services, which, if approved by the Postal Regulatory Commission, would take effect starting January 17, 2016. Currently, the Commission is set to rule on these proposed increases by November 16, 2015.
We fully understand the impact changes like these can have on your business. Rest assured that we will continue to work directly with the USPS—and all our shipping providers—to keep shipping rates low. In the past, we’ve been able to leverage the shipping volume eBay sellers generate to secure great discounted rates.
In the months ahead, we’ll be providing you with updates on these proposed increases and rates we’ve negotiated, as well as ideas on how to minimize the impact on your business.
